Where to Live on the Costa Blanca

We offer properties across the Costa Blanca, both in coastal areas and other towns just inland. Properties for sale in Moraira (where Hamiltons' main office is located) and othcer coastal towns of Denia and Javea are some of the most popular choices of expatriates, though some prefer to live in more peaceful mountain villages and small towns, such as Jalon, or the nearby villages of Parcent and Alcalali, away from the hustle and bustle. Our selection covers over 2,000 properties on the Costa Blanca. You can read more about the Costa Blanca on our general Costa Blanca information page, as well as general amenities and activities across the Costa Blanca under the "information" heading in the menu.

This part of the coast is a perfect summing up of all the Costa Blanca s positive benefits rolled in to one – a blend of mountains and sea, historical traditions and modern facilities, magnificent views and an abundance of fiestas!

The dramatic Sierra Bernia mountain range creates not only a stunning backdrop to the coastline but also creates its own micro climate, maintaining temperatures of 15° in the winter and 25° in the summer.

Costa Blanca - Denia

Denia is a medium-sized town, with its population near 40,000, with long stretches of sandy beaches making up the majority of Denia's 20 kilometres of coastline. Also coming under the town of Denia is the extensive, spread-out sub-district of Las Marinas, a mostly residential area, that also has many beachfront bars and restaurants to relax in. The Denia beach stretches so far that it is never crowded, even in August, and the Las Marinas area is not too busy, while still close to all the features of the Denia town.
Costa Blanca - La Xara

La Jara, now officially known by its translation in Valencian dialect as La Xara, is a pleasant village situated a 2-minute drive from Denia, that offers a true feeling of the countryside, in which we have a number of houses. Slightly inland, it offers the relaxed atmosphere of country life, while still being only a few minutes drive from the beach.
Costa Blanca - Calpe

Calpe is home to the Peñón de Ifach, the highest rock in the Mediterranean, and can be walked up almost right to the top for a fantastic view of the sea and surroundings. It has long sandy beaches, with many beachfront bars and restaurants, and a number of marinas. It is a large town, but well spread out, and is surpisingly quiet for its size.
Costa Blanca - Moraira

A smallish coastal town with a large marina, sandy beach, a good number of bars, restaurants and shops. It is situated at the foot of a tall hill, on the road descending from Benissa, with many properties offering spectacular views of the town, sea and picturesque green surroundings below. A very popular choice for expatriates, with one of the largest British communities in relation to its size in the Costa Blanca.
Mountain towns and villages

This category groups the town of Jalon, and the smaller villages of Alcalali, Parcent, Orba, Benichembla and Benidoleig. They are all within a 20 - 30 minute drive of the seaside Costa Blanca towns of either Denia or Javea, and are typically Spanish mountain villages in the surroundings of which we have a number of properties. An ideal choice for people wishing to enjoy the sunny climate of Spain, and "get away from it all" in the complete sense, enjoying the relaxed Spanish lifestyle, in the peaceful, picturesque mountains with far less tourism. However, the towns of Denia and Javea are only a relatively short distance away, for all the necessary shops and restaurants.
